Inspiration All Around

The "boho" prompt doodlecamp page that inspired my blog's banner. It was fun to work with the pattern on the inside of an old security envelope

Live in grace, dance with the universe...

The oceans and rivers of our planet are the lifeblood that circulates in our heart and in our body. The air is the sacred breath of life that gives energy to every cell in our body so that it may live and breathe and participate in the dance of the cosmos. To know that we are a part of this Earth, to know that we are inseparable from the cosmos, is to have the experience of joy, the experience of connectedness to everything. This is the healing experience; it is the experience of being whole. And to be whole is to live in grace.

Peace and comfort, friends!

Doodle

A page in my art journal, inspired by this summer's doodlecamp class

My First Post!

Welcome to my blog! (That includes me :D) My inspiration to do this came from many directions:

  1. This summer, I participated in a month-long "doodle camp", a fun class through Dawn DeVries Sokol's blog that re-ignited my love of drawing and hand-lettering

  2. Health issues (mainly allergies) that have forced me to spend most of my time indoors this summer

  3. The positive response I received when I posted some of my artwork on my Facebook wall

  4. And whatever it is inside me that will no longer allow me to ignore my need to create on a daily basis, whether it be through painting, designing, drawing, or any number of hobbies I indulge in.
Here we goooooooo!
